Retrieving the Message In A Bottle from my post box. |
Did you know you can ship just about anything through the mail as long as it has a proper address? Just for fun, I mailed this bottle containing a message to my daughter.
Purchase a corked flat plastic bottle at a local craft store.
Add a variety of items including, Lagoon Shell Sequins and Mini Bottle, beads, seashells, confetti, a mini umbrella, and of course a message on rolled up paper.
Items included in the bottle. |
Message created with Club Scrap's Lagoon UM stamps. |
Make sure the rolled message extends into the neck of the bottle to ensure that the recipient can remove it easily.
Wrap Washi Tape and a small rubber band around the neck and cork to prevent it from coming loose during the mailing process.
Cut two 2x4" Club Stamp Quad print panels. Add stamped images, a sentiment, and mailing information and adhere to the bottle with Bookbinding Glue.
Next on the hop, check out what Lilian at The Leaf Studio is doing with the Lagoon Collection.
Wishing you smooth sailing,
Kay

ReplyDeleteThat cool quote from the Jumbo UM Stamps fit on the outside of the bottle so nicely opposite of the address label, so hoping our letter carrier also enjoyed it!
