Welcome to my stop on the Club Scrap Trattoria Blog Hop.
Refrigerator Magnet Upcycled with Club Scrap's Trattoria Collection |
I've upcycled an old 3-1/4x4-1/4" refrigerator magnet with the Trattoria Quad print and Cutaparts.
Here's the recipe:
1. Trim the desired pattern from the Quad Print.
2. Brush Club Scrap's Bookbinding Glue onto an old refrigerator magnet and cover with the Quad Print.
3. Center a cutapart onto the magnet.
4. Print a mini calendar onto copy paper. I found this one on Pinterest.
5. Trim each month, stack, and bind together into a pad with Bookbinding Glue. Set aside to dry.
6. Attach the mini calendar and Fork Charm with Bookbinding Glue. Fill each mini bottle with salt, pepper, and other spices. Adhere the bottles to the top of the magnet with glue and wrap with Waxed Linen Thread.
"BAM!" (as Emeril would say). This is the cutest refrigerator magnet mini calendar ever!
Thanks for hopping with us. Next on the hop is Lilian at The Leaf Studio.
Bon Appetit!

Kay, this is totally adorrable. I need to case this. What a fun idea with the little glass jars.
ReplyDeleteLove love love
Oooohhhhhh sooooo stinkin' cute!!! LOVE IT!!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this!!! Especially the nifty little spice bottles. What a great gift idea! So very cute :) TFS
ReplyDeleteYet another trash to treasure miracle, Kay! We should go shopping in my basement to find more fun things to re-create! The spice bottle idea was brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for shopping in YOUR basement anytime!! Sounds like great fun to me!
DeleteKay this is just so cute! I love the little spice bottles as an embellishment, so clever!! And of course, that you up-cycled an old magnet, amazing!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! Thanks for the "recipe"! I will miss the blog hop team - thank you for your dedication and creativity!
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous. And I may actually try to make this. It would be great to have a mini calendar on the frig.
ReplyDeleteMore and more I like the useful projects as well, the mini calendar will be handy, and when 2018 has gone by it will be easy enough to make and attach a 2019 mini calendar as well.
DeleteSomething old is new again! Kay you are the master of detail! The spice jars are BRILLIANT! I can't love this enough!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I wanted to make tiny labels with an "S" and a "P" for salt and pepper of course but just didn't get around to it, ha!
DeleteYou and your little jars...Kay! Why can't I ever to remember to use those little guys?
ReplyDeleteI've used the tiny bottles many times but never for spices, so this was a first for me (:
DeleteSuper cute!!! Love that you upcycled the magnet too!
ReplyDeleteomg, Kay! This is adorable! Can you post (or email) the link to the mini calendar? I can never find one that works for projects. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Toni, the mini calendar I happened to grab when I searched on Pinterest wasn't perfect, the printing isn't super crisp so probably a low res file, you can probably find better, but I used: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/242490761166517297/ for the Folding Board mini calendar I also happen to make (I'm on a mini calendar roll here it seems), I'll keep looking for the link for the mini calendar I used for this magnet as it's not popping up for me today again.
DeleteWhat a wonderfully clever idea!!!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute, and mini! Love this idea!
